UNDER THE SEA BLOG HOP 23RD JUNE
Hello everyone
UNDER THE SEA blog hop hosted by Ashley. If you have arrived here from Sheila's blog then you are ready to continue but if you are just checking out bloggerland and wish to hop along with us then please start back at our hostess blog HERE
I have today created various projects as this is a fabby topic and is something i am passionate about.
My first projects are some layouts i have created using imagery from my favourite Under/Above water painter Christian Reises Lassen. His style is so amazing that i fell in love with it the first time i saw one of his paintings in a mag. I was so excited when in Las Vegas Caesars Palace a few years ago and found a CRL shop - gosh i was in my element.
Anyway here are my layouts made using serif craft artist professional software.
Next up is some mermaid cards that i have created using a Fee J Designs cd

LUCKY
Here is my manual scrapbook project on one of my cats called Lucky – how appropriate is he for a 3 leaf clover Good Luck theme.
I have been doing so many digi layouts lately that its fun to go back to manual scrappin' again.
Our poor lucky has CRF (cronic renal failure) and has been diagnosed for 2 years this year. He has however outlived the vets expectations since diagnosed. He arrived with us as he seemed to adopt us an want to join our family. We already had another black cat called gypsy and 6 years later she still is a diva around him.
Lucky is aptly named as without us goodness only knows what would have happened to him. At this time in his life each day is a blessing that he is still with us so we need all the luck we can get that he doesnt deteriorate too quickly.
This page has been made to keep him in our thoughts at all times and remember that he is truly a lucky cat.

I have used 2 sheets of patterened paper from DCWV latte paper stack and sliced the striped one in sections.
I have printed off the photo of Lucky and matted and layered it on some co-ordinating card stock then attached it onto my papers.
The green wheel like edging is from a sticky ribbon pack from K&CO which i thought went well with the colour scheme.
Next i used the Accent Essentials circuit cart and cut out some fancy flourishes in 4 and 3 inch sizes.
I then used the Teardrops cart and cut out Lucky’s name.
I used a 3 leaf clover digi stamp which i coloured in copic markers and glazed it using ranger glossy accents.

Assembled all the elements on the page and then added some purple pearl bling onto parts of the flourishes – just because i could!!!

I love how you have used cards to make new cards but to look like scrapbook pages. Such a brilliant idea. They are all beautiful but my favourite is the cat drinking from the tea cup.

PICTURE IT PERFECT BLOG HOP 28TH JAN 2012
Hello everyone and welcome to the "Picture it Perfect" blog hop 28th Jan hosted by myself and Doris
Doris had the idea of having a hop on the theme of incorportating a photograph or magazine picture or postcard into an actual card creation when she saw something that i had posted on a previous hop we decided to join forces and host this hop together.
If you have arrived here in blogger land then you are in the right place to start the hop.
Here are my creations for today i got inspiration from a calendar i bought for a christmas present of "Cats In Hats" !! So i googled cats in hats to come up with some fabby Cat in hat images to create my projects - hope you like them
I wish my cats would pose like these ones so i could get some pics of them in silly hats or dress them up - then again Jim would kill me !! But it would be fun.
My last creation is with using an image from an old birthday card that i have then jazzed up to create a new recycled card. I think this is such a cute image and yep its another cat!!
I will be offering blog candy to one lucky hopper with the best comments on my blog - the conditions for the prize are to be a follower on all the line up blogs and to leave comments on everyones creations - the draw will take place in 2 days time
Now please hop on over to my co-hosts Doris's blog for her creations. Here is the full line up just in case you get lost along the way.
Thanks for hopping.
