50 states blog hop 16 17 September

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop! Most of us would love to travel but are having staycations this year. What better way to travel but through a blog hop. This hop was inspired by our hostess Shawnee's journey across the United States as she traveled with her family to their new home. The United States is truly beautiful with many wonderful places to visit and see.

If you've hopped along from *Michigan*, then you are in the right place!! If you are just browsing around in bloggerland and would like to hop with us then please be sure to start with the first state in the union, Delaware, because you won't want to miss out on any of the fun (or any of the blog candy!!)...

There is an AMAZING Grand Prize Package for one LUCKY hopper (winner chosen by Rafflecopter)!!
To be entered to win, please do the following:
So what's the Grand Prize???
Cricut Cartridge - Destinations, beautiful handmade flowers from Shannon at Creative Chaos Flowers, and a $20 Gift Certificate to Scraptastical Kreations.
Now on to my state and my project....

The state that i have created my projects on is the sunshine state of Florida - i hope you enjoy what i have created.

My next projects are what  i have created on Orlando as i visited there in 2001 and am returning again in 2012 to visit some of the places that we didnt get to first time around.

This is a layout i created with a postcard from my trip.
I have used this as page one of my Orlando holiday memory scrapbook

The next few pages are just some that i have created from that holiday.

I am also entering this Animal Kingdom LO into the Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #32 Zoo Crazy.

My next project is a money savings jar that i have created to start saving for our 2012n holiday.
I have used an old coffee jar and decked it up with papers and embellishments.

Well thats all my Florida projects for this hop.

I would appreciate you leaving me some comments to tell me what you think of my creations. If you would like to see more then why not become one of my regular followers -  i run a RAK, a birthday club, bi weekly challenges and regular blog candy.

Now you can hop to the next state in the Union which is TEXAS !!
Remember to leave a comment on each state to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE!!

  5. Oh my goodness where to start! all the pages where just beautiful! I have been to florida twice! However aside from the airport and WDW property we didn't travel anywhere else and from your pictures it looks like there is so much more to see. Although giving up any time at WDW would be really tough!!! this is probably why i hope to retire there someday!!!

    thanks so much!

  6. Like your FL projects. Grew up E coast of FL. Worked for the Mouse at Disney World. My fav beach was not mentioned in your Top Beach list which is Playlinda near Cape Kennedy. You have to have a pass to go there and the beach is natural with everything made from natural wood and no hotels along it.

  10. Gill! As usual, you floor me with all your projects! Florida is the one state on the Eastern coast that I have been to :) My hubby's aunt and uncle live in Clear Water so I have been there a couple of times. We were there for our honeymoon 24 years ago - we spent a week and played on the beach and went to Disney World which was a first for me. It was in June and it was hard for me to breathe with the humidity but we went again a couples of years later in March and it was amazing! I really love Florida and I can see why you love it! LOVE all your projects - your layouts are always so beautiful!

Those Florida ones with the beaches are especially awesome and make me wish I was back there. *sigh* Ahhh, they do have some pretty beaches and I love the colors of the houses and condos in Fort Meyers on the Gulf side.
